Integration of the Hipax Image Processing in any Patient Administration System

To save the double entry of patient data, it is useful to use the present patient administration systems also for the administration of image data.

As a result, the user can view the images of a patient directly from the already familiar electronic patient folder. The present patient administration will be simply substituted by the image processing functions and the communication functions of Hipax. To start the image processing screen, the user does not have to leave the patient administration system and chose the current patient again.

Various image formats can be processed by using the Hipax system (e.g. DICOM, ACR/NEMA, PC file formats).

The Hipax Workstation version 4 offers functions, which can be integrated in an existing administration system. These functions can be integrated with little afford on the part of the producer of the patient administration system, which has been proven in numerous installations.
