Hipax Diagnostic Workstation
Hipax Diagnostic Workstation is the Hipax program specially
suitable for image series, sequences and mammography images.
This medical imaging program allows an optimal workflow.
The images can already be processed while the series is still loading
– the loading process is carried out in the background, unnoticed by
the user and without loss of performance.
The different image processing functions can be used in maximum speed
even on very big image series.
The 3D image processing, multiplanar
reconstruction and mammography functions open additional possibilities
for consultants to evaluate images.

System Requirements
 |
Pentium IV CPU with 2.8 GHz
or more, or a comparable AMD processor;
3D image processing: Fast Core2Duo-CPU (better Quad-Core) |
 |
Windows 2000, XP (SP 2), Vista |
 |
Minimum 1 GB RAM; 3D image
processing minimum 2 GB |
 |
Minimum 80 GB hard disk |
 |
Color or gray monitor, 17",
better 20"; special monitors for diagnosis |
 |
Graphics card; resolution
of 1024×768 or more, in the True Color mode;
Diagnosis: Special medical Megapixel PCI graphics card;
3D image processing: Minimum 128 MB graphics card storage, OpenGL
1.5 and DirectX 9.0 Shader model 3.0 |
 |
Option: network card and TCP/IP
network |
 |
Option: DSL router, internet
connection etc. for external communication |
 |
CD or CD/DVD drive to install Hipax and
to read media |
 |
Optiona: CD/DVD burning drive to burn patient CDs or
archiving media |
 |
USB plug for the dongle (licensing) |
 |
Wheel mouse |
Using a medical Megapixel PCI graphics card, it must be
put into a PCIe slot, because PCIe delivers significantly higher internal
data transfer rates than "normal" PCI slots. A mother board
with PCIe is required.
