3D Image Processing
The Diagnostic Workstation 3D system is optimally using the multi core processor technology for volume rendering, which is more and more common. Thus, high image quality and high interactivity can be achieved even with low hardware requirements for graphics cards.

Functions
| Displaying and processing up to 1536 CT images and MRI images of any resolution between 256×256 and 512×512 pixels | |
| Volume Rendering (colored, lighted and unlighted) | |
| MIP | |
| MinIP | |
| MPR | |
| Creating and administrating user defined presets to relate color-, transparency- and material properties to the image | |
| Storing 3D views in the Hipax DW database in DICOM format (secondary capture) with resolutions up to 2048×2048 pixels | |
| Using the full computer capacity of modern Dual- and Quad-Core processors with low hardware requirements for graphics cards |
