Today, the digital image administration, image processing, and image archiving can be considered to be the standard equipment in hospitals. Many manufacturers offer programs to digitize and to process medical images by using PCs as well as image archiving and administration systems.

But Hipax offers more. The Hipax system can be used to realize easily all kinds of projects: from the simple viewer to the demanding diagnostic station - from the single user system to big networks and PACS solutions.

Hipax has an open system architecture. The available imaging modules can be put together individually to form a powerful image processing, communication, and archiving system. As a result, Hipax can be used in consulting rooms as well as in a hospital or in a university clinic.

The Hipax system is using standard PC components (Pentium PC, Windows NT 4.0, 2000, or XP)
