The HIPAX Diagnostic Workstation is a capable software for image acquisition, image processing and viewing, even able to cope with very big image series. The HIPAX workstation concept provides an optimal workflow.
Using the HIPAX Robot Manager patient media can be created easily and fully automatic. The Robot Manager receives each type of DICOM files from any sending station and prepares the media to be burned and printed automatically on a CD/DVD robot.
The HIPAX DICOM Print Manager allows the user to process the same print job on different DICOM printers or Windows printers. DICOM images can be printed on paper, which helps significantly to save costs.
The HIPAX Worklist Server (SCP) extracts patient data from HL7 messages or text files (e.g., GDT, BDT) delivered by a RIS or patient administration system, and inserts them into DICOM Worklist tables.
The HIPAX CD Importer reads patient CDs from a local drive. The images can be forwarded to a PACS server. To make this, the patient data can be reconciled with the PACS database.
