| Through continuous further development of the HIPAX Diagnostic Workstation we have implemented some interesting new features in the latest version DW 2.4.5: It provides, for example, a new interface to connect all X-ray digitizers of the manufacturer VIDAR. This extends the range of our special hardware interfaces in the medical field. Furthermore, DW 2.4.5 includes a new specific hanging protocol for the display and diagnosis of MR images generated by the XBONE Esaote MR. Esaote developed a technique called XBONE to separate water and fat in a single scan, combined with an optimized correction of the static magnetic field inhomogeneity. As a result, four different views are generated for each single layer. The specific hanging protocol of HIPAX DW 2.4.5 enables the user to display all four views of a layer simultaneously, whichsimplifies the diagnosis of XBONE series significantly. |
